Browser problem...

Hi there.
I just started using this phone a few days ago and I started to have this problem with the browser today.
To close the browser after using, I tend to press the home button on my phone and I'll be brought back to the home screen.
Then, I'd press the lock widget so the screen will be turned off.
When I unlocked the screen again, I'm no longer on my home screen but the Chrome browser.
The Chrome browser is on EVERY time I unlock my phone.
It was only turned off when I cleared (ended) my browser through the task manager.
It still happens after I deleted Chrome and surfed the net with the original browser.
One more thing, my home screen loads really slow. The icons and widgets take time to appear (about 3 seconds or more).

Any ways to solve this? :-/

click the little square at the top of the Chrome browser that says how many windows/tabs you have open and X them out individually, then close out by using your back button. Pushing your home key just pushes the browser or apps into the background, still running.
