Browser zoom fixed, volume fixed

There is a thread "Volume +(paid) free" that fixed my volume issues. That, along with a ringtone pack (I like motorola droid ringtones, so I used the Razr pack) which I ran through mp3gain to 100 decibels, made it all much much better.

As far as the browser, I didnt change any settings at all except "Force enable zoom" under Accessibility. It seemed to fix the issue for me, at least the few times I used the browser it was okay.

Face unlock - If you go into the security settings after you set up face unlock, there is a option to take more pictures in order for it to work better. With a hat, without a hat, low light, high light, sunglasses, no sunglasses etc. Made it much better for me. Also, if you are out at night, you can simply tap on the bottom of the camera screen for the face unlock and it sends you straight to the PIN login. Much faster than waiting for face unlock to say "too dark in the club buddy, gimmie your pin." Now my only complaint with face unlock is the FFC being angled to the right, so you have to your head and tilt the phone

Just a heads up guys. I can't think of any other complaints now, other than a lot of apps not working with ICS yet and the menu button being in different places. Those solutions made this thing my dream phone

Do they deliver these on Saturday? When i ordered my Bionic it was set up as next day delivery. I ordered it on a Thursday, and did not receive until the following Monday due to the 24 hour order set up thing and then it being delivered.

Thanks for sharing your browser zoom fix! It really drove me nuts how sloppy the pinch zoom was on the browser until i followed your instructions. It's perfect now.

Where did you get the Droid Razr ringtone pack? Figured it would be easier to just download it somewhere then transferring from my old phone.

My tracking number showed it arriving in my hometown last night so I looked on fed ex website and two day shipping includes Saturday. They actually say even though its estimated for monday they try to deliver it ahead of schedule. So here is to wishing. Edit... And a quick look shows its enroute for delivery as of 40 minutes ago

Seconded, except previously it used to force me to wait until the page had loaded entirely to start double-tap zooming. In slow data areas on 3G, this was exceptionally painful. I could see the link I wanted which had already loaded, but I was forced to sit through image loads until I could zoom in and accurately click the link. No more with this accessibility option! Thanks, OP!

Nope, just hit the three menu dots while in stock browser. Settings:Accessibility:Check enable force zoom.

even though i did the force zoom.. pinch the zoom is still nowhere smooth as the iphone right?
for some reason it just doesnt feel as smooth... and ESPECIALLY if its still loading the page..

those who say its perfect.. is it really perfect? or is my phone just not working as well?

Before the fix, pinch to zoom certainly wasn't as smooth as the Razr, droid 2, Palm Pre, or iphones. After, I am not really sure. I haven't used it, and i'm not around the phone at this time. I just double tap the screen on the area I want.


I didn't install anything that I know of, the setting should be in there already. As was said, just open the browser, hit the menu button (3 dots on the top right, sometimes you have to scroll the page up or down fast to get that to show up), then click accesibility and its at the top.

You lucky SOB...mine is at the sorting facility and apparently they don't deliver on Saturdays here. So there it sits....in the same city as I am, in a box, and I have to wait til Mon.

where'd you get the Razr pack? I just made a couple of my own ringers from mp3s using audacity and upping the dB level and putting it on the phone. pretty slick and fast that it recognizes the files.

the volume+ helped a bit with the ringer volume but my notifications are still low, there isnt an option for volume plus to increase the volume on those

Panitos, thats why i downloaded the razr sound pack (just google it) and used mp3gain. There are some louder ones in there.
