BT headset cutting out on phone calls

So I'm having a issue with Bluetooth during phone calls. I use a bt headset for most of my phone calls because then that gives me the ability to use the phone. The issue is when I'm doing things on the phone and using my headset people tell me they can't hear me or I cut out really bad. It doesn't do it every time but it happens a lot.

I'm running stock lollipop and on Verizon. I got the phone with 4.4.2 but as soon as I turned it on it got lollipop so not sure if it was a issue before. I have had the phone for 2 months now.

I have done a factory reset after the update to see if that would help. Does anyone else have this issue when using a headset? I have heard some complain about music streaming but this situation is different. Any help would be nice.

I'm curious--does the G3 have simultaneous voice and data capability? I wonder if the phone call is dropping out because you get on the web and start browsing for something. I know that the Advanced Calling (VoLTE) update for the G3 mentions SVDO capability, but I'm not sure if that means that it didn't have it beforehand. If that's the case, then if you're in an area without good VoLTE support, it might not work that well for you.

Yeah good cell signal here. I could be just browsing something not on the web and it still cuts out. Very annoying!
