BT pairing question

Maybe this pertains to all devices, I don't know, but I'll throw it out there anyway.

I recently went on a 10 day vacation. Upon returning, I had to re-pair my Essential with my vehicle (Hyundai). There's been times where I haven't driven the vehicle in 3 or 4 days but zero pairing issues were noted and the phone paired as it should to the vehicle.

This time was 10 days. Is there a certain timeframe where if a device isn't paired to a vehicle that it has to re-pair for security reasons or something?

Just something I noticed that I never experienced before.

There shouldn't be. I'm seldom in the car more than once a week (I'm retired), and usually it's around the corner for grocery shopping, so no BT. When I'm in the car longer, BT goes on, the phone's BT goes on and they connect right up. Maps has always had words chopped, and I wish I could set individual volumes for individual apps, but no BT pairing or connecting problems through about 5 phones. (None of them Essentials, though.)

I appreciate the input. It's odd as I have never noticed this on any device/vehicle pairing in my experience not have I read anything about it.
