Just purchased a new LCD to replace the cracked one on my Optimus V. After watching a video of the process, I am ready to install my new screen but noticed that the new screen is bubbled on the LCD side of the unit. Is this because there is a film to remove from the replacement or is the screen defective and should be sent back for another replacement?
Disregard. Problem is solved. I am usually very careful when it comes to doing things that I am unsure of. I had taken a chance and began picking away at the screen. It did have a protective film around the LCD. It has been removed and installed successfully. Assistance is no longer needed.
