I'm looking for a replacement for my Asus Memo Pad Smart 10, which went in for a repair and never came back. I'm looking for a wi-fi-only 10-incher with HDMI and a micro SD card slot, at around the ?250 price point. It'll be used mainly for browsing and eBook reading.
Any suggestions?

I don't know if you are interest in buying from China, but I purchased a Cube U9GT-V which is a 9.7", Rockchip RK3188 Quad core, 1.8 GHz, 2GB memory, 16 GB storage, 4.1 OS, Retina Screen 2048x1536 & 10K battery. It lasts for 10 hours or more surfing. I liked the 4x3 screen for surfing & ebooks rather than the 16x9, which is the 10" tablets. I am very happy with mine. It cost $235 plus shipping. I haven't found a way to root it but it didn't come with a lot of bloatware anyway so I can be patient. I opted for FedEx which cost another $32 and received it in about 10 working days. Hope this helps.

The Hisense Sero Pro 7 it's an excellent 7 inch tablet available at Walmart for $149. I've had out since May and it operates flawlessly. Android 4.2.1. I love it!

Nexus 10 fits all of those requirements, except only has micro HDMI.
