Buggy jelly bean 4.3 help

Guys.. Need help, I updated my GS4 a few days ago to jellybean 4.3 and soon after my phone kept on rebooting. After two days, I decided to bring it in for a checkup... Technician said they will reinstall 4.3, an hour later I came back to get my GS4. On the second hour, my phone froze and rebooted again and now I see on the lock screen an microphone icon (which is very annoying and I can't seem to remember move), need help on two things

1. Is there a solution to rid myself of the constant reboot
2. Is there any way to remove that annoying microphone icon on the lock screen.

2. Maybe Settings>Lock screen?
