Feature, it's only displayed if you have developer options active. It goes away when you turn them off.

Weird, useless, ugly (and unsolicited?) "feature".

Can I please have some other serial numbers on my screen I don't care about. Like putting that international shoe size label on the outside of your shoe. Lol

As others have mentioned, you can fix this by turning of developer mode and whatever you tweaked in Dev mode does not go away.
