I left my tablet docked all day yesterday. Before bedtime, I noticed that the tablet battery was at 97% and the dock still had 10%.
I charged my TF + dock last night. This morning, I noticed the dock's battery was recharged to 100%, but the tablet's battery was still at 97%.
Right now, the dock is at 84% and the tablet is still at 97%.
Something allows the tablet battery to lose some juice - although, not much.
Mine's been doing that since I bought it (ordered on the first day available and got it a couple of weeks later, so it has been awhile). Until the dual battery widget came out, I couldn't tell how much juice was in the dock (could only estimate by the LEDs when charging). My tablet will charge to 97%, 98%, or 100% before switching over to the dock.
I don't know if the tablet is actually not fully charged (i.e. the switch over occurs before it gets to 100%) or if it is just the way the Tab+dock measure the charge. In either case, that doesn't seem to affect the total battery life enough to make a difference.
Now if I could get the dock drain issue straightened out - it's B4, so early adopter syndrome/penalty...
