Are there any other phones that have the same or similar board that your phone does? If so, maybe porting a recovery from that hypothetical phone is a possibility? I'm not at all familiar with your model phone, I'm just throwing out an idea.

The optimus m+ they have already tried I think.

There are a few OV devs that definitely have the talent, and may or may not be willing to help. Any of the following are worth a shot: BobZhome, mrg666, or tdm. They're all pretty active, and do their own ROMs, kernels, and/or recoveries. Drewwalton19216801 has built recoveries for the OV and OS (and perhaps others?). I would try PM'ing one of those devs to see if you can get any help or resources.
