One of the videos I saw showed a setting to turn on/off a built-in call recorder. Can anyone who has received their Note 10+ verify that it's really there? Thanks!

Are you sure you're not thinking of screen record?

Yeah I'm sure I saw a video on this also, maybe it was a video in the Asian market where recording laws are not the same as ours.
 
Android has had the ability to record phone calls removed. US version, Asian version, it's not in Android any more. (Too many different laws - one-party permission, two-party permission, totally illegal, completely permitted - so I guess they just said, "take it out".)

I had call recording built in all my phones in India with Note 9 and Mate 20 pro... Iam sure Note 10 plus will have it too... Just gonna start unboxing my Note 10 plus now

Wrong. I use an app and it records phone calls all the time for me and I just got it actually a few months ago.

It has popped up on my Note 9 the last week or so. Never had it happen before that.
