built in video player to cromcast no cast button

Hi all

So I bought a Chromcast for my tv in my spare room works great. However if I'm on the Internet on my phone and watch a video through the built in videoplayer on my s6 edge there is no button to cast to tv any suggestions?

Two options I can think of:

1. Cast the whole screen--see this article: How to mirror your Android screen with Chromecast | Android Central

2. Use the Google Photos app to view the video (not the stock Video player or the Google Play Movies app), and see if there is a Chromecast button associated in the Photos app. I can't test it right now, but from what I can tell, Google Photos is supposed to have Chromecast support.
