So I keep trying to do bump charging, and I still either get sub-100% status after a minute or two and my battery life isn't any better.

Here's what I am doing so correct if I am wrong:

1) Charge till green while on
2) Remove power, turn off, re-insert power, charge till green
3) Remove power, turn on, re-insert power, charge till green

At this point I am still showing 95-96% after a few minutes of no activity. My phone still lasts about the same amount (7-8 hours of average use). What is the deal here? Do I need to repeatedly perform steps 2 and 3 until it goes green immediately?

I remember HTC saying to leave it on step 2 for an hour at first then repeat.

Same here. Tried bump charging last night. Hasn't worked yet. Still only charges up yo 98%

I'm wondering if you have to do it repeatedly or try HTC's method (leave it off with charge for over an hour even if it's green then repeat charing steps).

Where is HTC's method posted at or spoke of? Maybe I'm doing it all wrong...

I also do not have fast boot enabled.

Same situation here. I do notice the drain actually slows down after about 80%. I want to try to go a full day without having it on the charger to really get a gauge of what my real battery life is but I'm scared that ill have a dead battery when I really need it the most.

I have had fastboot enabled and when I turn off the phone, the LED stays green.
When I disable fastboot(just tested for first time) and turn off the phone the LED goes to orange which is what we want. Except CWM Recovery automatically boots, even after I pull the battery and put it back in without doing anything. Yes, I am rooted.
