Burn in on IPS display?

So after having my G2 for around a week, my screen is showing signs of image retention. More notably the bar at the bottom. I Googled "Grey page" and shifted my phone and the bar with buttons left a nice after image. I got away from Amoled for this reason.

I use the black bar at the bottom, not gradient.

Unlike burn in on AMOLED screens, image persistence is usually temporary or easily fixed on LCD.

I never thought these screens would be susceptible like super Amoled. I guess it's just a problem you can't escape.

Means you're using your phone too much or your brightness is too high.

mine is set for 60% and i really don't have it on for more than 10 minutes at a time. if that's too much, maybe the G2 isn't for me
