button lights

Anyone have a problem with the button lights lighting up when they feel like it? I was hitting the home and back buttons, and noticed they didn't light up. Well, they did, but just not in a timely manner.. Seconds after I actually touched the screen and/or buttons.

The buttons light up depending on how much ambient light the phone's light sensor is picking up. I don't know the exact threshold, but when the phone thinks it's getting dark, the buttons light up. You can see for yourself--if you cover the light sensor above the screen while in a bright room, the buttons will light up.
