Does it make any sense to wait awhile to buy the Nexus? Will the fixes be software and not hardware?

I so want this phone right now but am hesitant because of the signal issues many are having.

I am fighting the urge to go out and get this phone TODAY. Help!

I say buy it now and enjoy it because soon as other phones come out that are faster and come with ICS its going to lose all its coolness.

Just got buy it honestly the issues i seen in it are not really that bad.

You could wait. Remember that even if other phones come out with ICS and "run faster". They will be doing it on older builds. The Gnex will get faster and faster and continue to get the next update first. Making it the phone to beat. That includes security updates as well as performance tweaks.

Dude if you want it buy it. The only issues I've had are the network issues with all 4g phones and the android central app force closes. Oh and no nfl app. But that has nothing to do with the Nexus. You'll love the phone.

Try NBC Sports Talk. Not just NFL, but PFT is awesome and it finally doesn't FC every other time. I also use ScoreCenter and an SB Nation app.

Might wanna get a extended battery from Verizon why they are on sale. Normally $49.99 on sale for $25.99

Well I am pretty sure I am going to like it a lot once I get used to things being "different" and learn where everything is (grin). It is just a matter of getting familar with it. Wish I had a good solid 4g signal in my house though.

I had a Fascinate prior and I did root it. I am not planning of rooting the Nexus yet, maybe never, we will see. I like to run stock but I rooted it to get rid of the bloatware. The Nexus doesn't seem to have that much bloatware on it. I am not really into the custom ROMs.

I did get the extended battery deal! First she told me the offer was only for the holidays and it was over. I asked the regular price of the battery and she told me $50. She went back to her computer while I continued to play with the Nexus on display. The next thing I knew she came back over and said that it was still on sale but that it would have to be ordered. So yes, I hopped on that deal. She didn't know when the offer would be over.

What's that strange word you talk of, "bloatware?" Haha.. Hope you enjoy it.
