The brown is a Tmobile exclusive unless tmobile is lying. It is probably just a little different in color.

Excellent find. Makes me wish I waited to buy my tan- but looking at the site, the Tan is a rougher texture like the black. I got the smooth Tan one, which is softening up with use. Still though, if you don't need black, this is the deal.

They are calling this color orange on the site so I wonder if it is even the same color.

Going to think about it, offer is good till 6/30.

So looks like the red one is the only one with smooth leather like the T-mobile brown.

The orange reminds me of a football, could totally rock that during football season.

I don't mind the color variations on the natural color which is what you're getting here since this happens from lot to lot and you might wind up with something smoother too depending on where on the hide the cut was from.

LG never said anything about if the hides had been sanded smooth so it's going to be the luck of the draw I think for getting something smoother.

I disagree, they made certain colors certain textures on purpose. If you see a bullhide like on the Verizon black than that's what you get. If you see the smoother softer brown of the T-mobile than that's what you get. The same with the other colors on the LG website. And as far as I can tell just looking on my phone the red is the only smooth one.

Sorry... But hides are hides and no 2 are exactly the same texture or grain pattern. They don't save certain parts for certain colors and I have seen rougher grains already on the Tmobile's in person at the store I went to on a customer's phone.

There are always lot to lot variations in color and this cover would cost way more if they did it any other way. They will cut off as many as they can from each hide otherwise they would have a ton of waste which I don't think they would do.

Some hides are just going to be smoother than others.

It's a great deal but I'm not crazy about the colors LG is offering. Might just get the black leather on Amazon for $86. They also have the same brown color as T-Mobile.

Still not digging paying $70
for just the back. Already have the black leather, if it was around $40 or something then would have bought a back up cover but $70 is too much even for leather back IMO.

Yeah I know, none of my friends have the G4. They all have iPhone's or some year old Android phone. Probably will pick up one once the price comes down or another sale.

Cool, I like the red one but that's just about it. So not sure if I will pull the trigger either.
