Buy phone without adding a line?

Any idea off the top of your head how much it costs to buy out of a 2yr contract 3 months in? If I had to guess...a lot...enough for me not to bother logging into VZW and looking right now haha.
$350 etf plus taxes and fees. I did that once, and taxes and fees and one days service was about $75.

Their website says you take $10 off the ETF for every month that has passed since your contract began. So I'd be looking at $320 (plus tax and fees whatever "fees" means).

I dunno, I'll probably just stick it out with my G4 til my ETF fee would be lower or something. It really isn't a bad phone, I'm just getting new phone envy now that Samsung fixed what I hated most about the first S6.

If you signed a contract this year then the etf remains at $350 for the first 7 months

"If you cancel a line of Service, or if we cancel it for good cause, during its contract term, you'll have to pay an early termination fee. If your contract term results from your purchase of an advanced device on or after November 14, 2014, your early termination fee will be $350, which will decline by $10 per month upon completion of months 7–17, $20 per month upon completion of months 18–22, $60 upon completion of month 23 and will be $0 upon completion of your contract term."

Ahh never saw that before, thanks.

$350+ is a little rich for my blood just to get out of the contract and be able to jump to a new phone. So like I said I guess it'll just be sticking it out with the G4 until the ETF is lower or something. Oh well!

These are the taxes and fees when I did etf a while back. Keep in mind that it also includes one day of service. uploadfromtaptalk1441915027275.jpg
