Buyers Remorse?

i had kind of the opposite experience...i went from android to iphone 13 pro. i literally bought it and returned it three times(!) over the course of two months. i kept trying to make it work for me. sure there were many things i missed about android (customization and an AOD), but i figured i would eventually adapt to apple's way. and for the most part i did. give it a week or two and you will likely find that you've forgotten about the old way of doing things. they're both good phones. so rest assured that you will be fine with whichever you choose. i've had the S21 for 7 weeks now. it's in the shop. and i see my girlfriend effortlessly using her iphone all day. so i am having a bit of buyer's remorse too.

This is a really good idea. I am thinking I might put the iPhone and the Apple Watch in a drawer at the back rather than having them nearby and just use the Galaxy for a week or so and just see if I adapt.
If I don’t have the “what if” of the iPhone next to me, I might forget the frustrations and embrace the positivities!

OMG this is my one "issue" It's even more ergonomically logical for me on the right side of the phone, but I've had it on the left since the Note 8... It's driving me batty ??????

Just adding some humor since I have read from Sammy people who floated to the pixel complaining about the location of the power button. It's all muscle memory. After a week, maybe two, I will consider the location of the power button on the S22 to be the best place for it and if I pick up a pixel, I'll mess with the sound buttons.

Yeah mine has a literal crumb underneath the camera lense. I don't know if someone was eating a sandwich or what when they put my phone together ugh. Sent it back today now to wait forever for another one. Pisses me off too bc the phone prices went up and you can't exchange you have to reorder.

Trade in values when up by 250 plus you get 100 Google play credit. It's a better deal now.

champions adapt.

To me, the Apple Watch is the game changer. I have the 11 pro max and now the 22 ultra, have had two phones for a while.

Samsung's hardware is the best, but what Apple has done with their watch is amazing. I like it simply for notifications - specially, having my outlook calendar from work populate on the screen so I know where I am with my day, and what my next meeting is. I want badly to use the S22 Ultra as my daily driver, as it were, but struggling to see how unless I give up on having a smart watch on my wrist.

The other thing I love my watch for is being able to ask Siri to text someone when I am driving. Those are two stupid easy use cases- nothing dramatic

I totally agree. I still have the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The Apple Watch 6 was/is my first Apple Watch and has been my watch of choice since purchase for various reasons. However I carry 2 phones and am addicted to the S Pen so my android phone has for several years been a Galaxy Note. I don't expect that to change soon.

Not exactly buyers remorse. I've had the S22 Ultra for a few days, with absolutely no complaints or problems. BUT, I just can't give up the Z flip 3. Not because it has better specs. I just can't go back to a big slab phone. The z flip has almost the identical footprint when open. But that phone folds into the palm of my hand and becomes so much easier to carry around. Which is very important to me.

So I've decided to return it. No sense keeping it, if its just going to be kept in a draw.

Thanks to all those who answered any questions I had about the Ultra. Enjoy your S22 Ultra's.

I guess since the power button is in the wrong place,

I could return mine.

Ok, time for me to go outside and

AGAIN!

Yeah, my husband and I were doing that yesterday... Winter can end any time, now!

I'm close to returning mine. Only reason is, Best Buy just reduced the S21 Ultra, in Blue down to $849. Is the s22 Ultra worth $350 more? Maybe.

But for me, it's just as good, for cheaper and would be $35 a month instead of 50 a month.

Two different devices.....it's your call though

I can't give up my Z Fold 3 but I'm keeping it and the S22 Ultra. I have to carry an Iphone for work phone so I just use the SIM from that in one of the Samsungs

I’m gonna be that guy.. starting to wonder if I made the right decision and if this phone goes back.

Mine finally arrived yesterday - and I’ve been looking forward to it for days. Literally waiting.

Coming from an iPhone 13 Pro but as a former Samsung lover and frustrated iPhone owner.

And it’s the simple things that are just getting to me - Android related more than Samsung:

- I plugged my phone into my car this morning and fired up Android Auto.. couldn’t find TuneIn Radio to stream a radio station I listen to ALL the time (which I normally just fire up by hitting the ‘favorites’ tab on Apple CarPlay). Told Google Assistant to stream it and it said it was - but then nothing. Struggling to find a workaround here (I used an app called Global Player normally if TuneIn fails as it’s a Global station - but neither of them are on AA). Tried disconnecting my phone from CarPlay and just talking to GA normally, but same issue.

- Told my phone to make a WhatsApp audio call and was astounded that this STILL isn’t a thing! I use WhatsApp audio ALL the time. I have at least managed to get around this with Bixby, but it’s a bit of a crude solution. How can WhatsApp voice calls not be supported on Android but they are on iPhone which is way more closed down!?

The phone itself is beautiful - I got the white and it knocks spots off my iPhone in terms of design which just feels stale. But I’m definitely starting to feel a little ‘meh’ about it. Hoping that wears off.. Will give it a date or two.

If you ain't feeling it, return it an save some money.

I have 3 phones. Iphone 12 ProMax, Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

I'm liking my phone, heavier then my note 10 +, but I'll get use to that.

My problem is when trying out ring tones, with my earphones in ,
The ring is still coming loud from phone and can barely hear in earbuds.
Anyone have any idea why or what to do to fix it?

I hear you I love my z fold 3 but I shipped it out yesterday I will see it on the next one..

I guess only one other person is having this issue.
And no one has any ideas. 🤔

Yeah I decided to keep the Ultra for a while longer. I'm still trading in the z flip 3 though as I already have another cheap backup just for emergencies. I'll just see what improvements are made to the Z flip 4.

Camera is not flagship grade imo. Grain and smearing in images. My Xperia 1 III takes much cleaner images.

I have the Exynos version.
