I think I'm definitely getting this...just hope they don't wait too long to release it. I too would love to hear a price point, to have an idea. I'll have to wait to see where the dock prices land before I decide if I'll get one or not.

But this phone is precisely what I was hoping ATT would announce at CES. From the info that's currently available, I definitely won't mind re-upping a 2year with ATT, as long as they let me keep my grandfathered Unlimited Data.

Side question, and maybe it's been asked; I haven't worked my way all the way through the Atrix forums yet...Do you think ATT is going to charge more for 4g like sprint does? Right now they are showing on the Atrix page the standard ATT tiered data plans. I'm wondering how that's going to shake down.

†MOTOROLA ATRIX 4G: Requires a minimum data service starting at $15/month. Two-year contract required. Qualified customers only. MOTOROLA ATRIX 4G is configured to work only with the wireless services provided by AT&T. AT&T Wi-Fi: Access includes AT&T Wi-Fi Basic. Other restrictions apply. See AT&T Wi-Fi for details and locations.

$15 is what thier plans start at now, so I imagine they are using the same pricing scheme.

I have to change my previous post...I definitely want the multimedia dock. The laptop dock would be awesome for travel. If I'm taking a laptop anyway...

Correct me if im wrong but aren't the multimedia dock and the pc dock one in the same.

Also, the regular dock is useless. Is any one willing to shell out over 50 bucks just so they dont have to plug their phone into the charger directly?

First of all we dont know the prices on the docks. The PC dock will dock, sync your phoen to our pc. The multimedia dock will let you run your phone on tv through hdmi or on your pc. Please just read a little more into things before assuming a ridiculous price for a dock. If im not mistaken motorola docks are around 20-30 for the DX, Droid and so on.

My prediction on dock prices (based on Motorola's Droid X docks which will be similar to the Atrix):

Charging Dock - $29.99 - The DX multimedia dock is $49.99 but it is a blend of the two that will be offered with the Atrix - which is why I think the basic Charging Dock will be less and the HD dock will be more.
Car Dock - $39.99 - The DX car dock is $39.99
HDMulti Media Dock - $74.99
Laptopdock - $249.99

I can't see the laptop dock being $250 since it's just a case with a keyboard and screen. No way would Motorola be charging over what a netbook would cost. Therefore, my prediction is $150 max, assuming the Atrix costs $200-250, but we will see.

Who knows what the final pricing will be - but I expect that the laptop dock will be at least $200.00. I mean, what would a keyboard, 11" screen and battery pack cost if purchased seperately?

It would be great if Motorola/AT&T would give a bundled discount if you purchased all four docks.

As much as i agree with alot of you on the pricing, i could not see how they could justify a 150 or more price on the laptop dock. It is essentially just a dock no atrix no work. A net book goes from 150 and up they would have to price this very under a netbook for the same reason that its a shell only. i can see it for about 100 at most. but agree maybe some sort of bundle deal would be great.

Having never looked at or shopped for net books - I can honestly say I had no idea they were that cheap! So - maybe it does come in under $200.00. If it does then it will be one hell of a deal and I suspect they will sell a ton of them.

I plan to at least get the multimedia dock. The webtop application is one of the main reasons I'm excited about this phone. I can connect to my tv and a spare keyboard I have around the place and play with that.

The laptop dock looks neat, but I will leave that for now. I don't travel for business. I sold my personal laptop when I got my last smartphone because the smartphone basically does all I need when I travel for fun or to visit family. It would be kind of neat to have a full size keyboard and screen to travel with, but I'll hold off on that for now.

I'm not much into accessories. The laptop dock is cool and all, but I have a laptop already. if I need to do something on the net with a bigger screen, I'll just use that. Perhaps down the road I'll look into the HDMI dock, but cost would be a big factor. Either way, I look to get the phone, which is what is causing big-time excitement in me. It will be a big upgrade from my current phone: the Motorola Backflip.

Apparently Motorola has filed for a trademark, "Tabdock," which will probably end up being a dock for the Atrix 4G or the name of a line of such accessories.

Tablet dock, anyone?

That would be cool
