So, I am going to be able to upgrade my phone sometime around September this year, the time when a new Nexus will probably be announced. I want a Nexus device, I was opting for a Nexus 4 last year but I didn't know you couldn't buy from a country not specified by the Google play store online. & then there was the supply issue so I had to settle for a galaxy s3 and I ing hate it. Anyways, when a Nexus 5 comes out, I'll be able to get a new phone, and I plan on getting one. So if someone could suggest how to get the phone immediately at launch through Google play while not being in the countries specified, it would be great, I live in Qatar Btw. And the Nexus 4 still isn't available here, so I really want to buy the Nexus 5 at launch

a lot more local carriers are starting to offer the N4 now as well. I imagine the next nexus will follow a similar path.

Unfortunately I have no friends capable of buying me such, and as for local, the Nexus 4 still isn't available in Qatar and likely won't be for even a lot linnet, the same thing happened with the galaxy Nexus, the interest in Nexus around here is pretty low so I'm not surprised. Maybe of someone can point me to an online retail store that would offer the Nexus and deliver worldwide, or some sort of platform to connect with people who are ready to buy it for me from their country and ship it to me?

Here's what you need:

A VPN application. This will allow you to access the US version of the Google Play Store. Tunnel Bear works for me. I suggest that you do this on a PC. While it's possible to do on a phone, it's just infinitely easier on a large screen with a mouse and keyboard.

A credit card linked to a US address. This is often the tricky part for most people. Certain credit cards allow you to input an address different from your real address (which is quite worrying actually). Anyway, go to the Google Wallet site to enter in your credit card details and address to see if it works. If not, try a different card. I personally had success using an AMEX card.

A mail forwarding service. Now that you can access the US Google Play Store and you can make your purchase, you just need a way for the product to ship outside the US. Borderlinx works for me. Just sign up for an account and they'll provide you with a US address. Have your purchase ship to that address and they'll forward it on to you. There' s a fee, of course.

That's it. I've done this a couple of times. I managed to purchase a N7 and two N4s.

Use a forwarding company and that country's cc address - I suggest US as its about $80 USD cheaper then most other countries.
Or Allow a trusty AC person to do it for you and mail it to you, a tip for them would be nice as that might be cheaper - not me as I am Aus and shipping out of Australia is ridiculously expensive (Lets say economy shipping to Hong Kong is the same as 4 x three day express mails to Aus from HK)

Thanks guys for the forwarding company tips, seems great especially that some of you already done it before, just gotta figure out how to get a new e card that can set a an address in the US (my current e card has the address in Qatar and can't be changed to US.
