Buying Note 2 Verizon off contract

I would like to buy the Verizon Note 2 off contract what is the best route to go? Should I buy direct from Verizon or Amazon off contract or go into a store get a new line, cancel service eat up etf and then connect to my existing verizon plan? I currently have 5 phones on an unlimited plan and cannot add another phone to the plan without losing unlimited. What would be the cheapest route?

Too bad you missed best buy price match policy which ended, you could have gotten the note 2 for $100 and paid $350 etf the same day with one days service for $455. You can still get it today for $100 more with the etf method

I went to the verizon store, they even bought my iphone 4 for $100. Worked out well for me and no hassles
