Buying the galaxy s3

Me and my wife are switching from verizon to at&t, cause verizon sucks. I am going with the galaxy S3. When i get it should i install the update or not. I have read mixed views about it. Some say it messes of phone and is laggy, others say its good. So should i indtall the update?

Congrats on choosing 'the next best thing', rather than.. well you know Can't tell you about the update since I haven't received notice of it on my RED GS3 here in the Bay area. I don't think I'm going to install it though since my phone is blazing fast and has worked flawlessly for 5 weeks now.
