Buying the s10 Plus, Galaxy X or sticking with Note?

That stupid, big, ugly hole in the screen? Are you kidding me?

I hate it.

Trying to watch video will either have a big, stupid, ugly hole in it... or the video will never expand to full screen keeping the video below the big, stupid, ugly hole... which defeats the purpose of having a large screen.

Games? Seriously? Same thing. Either they won't use the full screen, or they will but there'd be an area you can't use a touch control.

Is a bit of a top bezel really that big a deal? I'd rather have a bit of bezel than this intrusive hole.

Assuming the Note 10 has the same big, stupid, ugly hole... I'll likely stay with my Note 9 til it dies, then maybe go back to two cans and a string, lol.

Samsung deserves to have Crapple run all kinds of commercials with dad & son walking around with holes in their heads... and I HATE Crapple !!

Here's hoping that all these "leaks" are wrong and there is no big, stupid, ugly hole... or that they find a better solution by the time the Note 10 comes out.

I'll be due an upgrade in November so I can definitely see myself getting Note10 but not any of the S/Beyond models but still very curious about them as the top spec one will give loads of hints about the Note 10, imagine a 6.7 4k display but still about same size as the Note 8, 6000mAh graphene battery and the new 7 or 8 nanometer processor, I think it will be a monster, probably also VERY expensive but my upgrade will absorb over half the price and well before the time comes I'll have this N8 exchanged cheap enough for a N9 that can help subsidise it too

My note 9 is completely paid off this second (merry Xmas to me!) and so I'll wait on the Note 10 before I get in debt again. Lol
Plus, this thing is a beast! I love it!

Before buying a new phone.

Has everybody checked out which of these phones will have 5G capabilities.
And what it will cost to use 5 G and still be able to use 4G networks ?

I am waiting for a flat screen with 5G. If the note 10 has, I buy and dump my note 8. If not, I wait. I waited years to upgrade until the phone had USB-c. Now, just a flat screen version might get me to upgrade. I do not like the curved screens!!!!

Battery news is cool I guess, but I really don't care how fast my phone charges. Make it last long enough and no one should care, just charge it overnight. I never even use the fast charge because normal charge is quick enough and I prefer not killing my battery's overall life more by jolting it full ultra fast.

I surely expect the S10 series to have some of the groundbreaking features but I believe the Note10 would be a combination of the S10 features added with extra polish and finish along with the awesome the S-Pen. So as of now I think I'll wait till the Note10.

If not this year then next: fast UFS 3 to double bandwidth to be able to take advantage of the latest storage, probably followed by ddr5 memory.

Baby steps on better battery but could see double what we now have.

SnapDragon support for 16GB+ for tablet-laptop and Windows on ARM project for you Surface fans and others.

At this point phones aren't getting that much better for the price paid for them. I'm interested in the design of the s10 and I really wanna see the functionality of the foldable phone but as far as your user experience, I feel we're getting more of the same. I will probably go with the note 10 or if that foldable phone turns out to function the way I hope and they add an edition with an s-pen then maybe after the price drops I'll get that.

The Note 9 is still new... my next phone. likely in 2 years, will be 5G compatible. In that time frame, I hope that the 5G platform will be stable and pricing will be clear.

I won't get the s10 plus unless the Note 9 got lost or destroyed somehow lol. I will get the Note 10 unless the folding phone turns out to be a huge hit, they have decent protective cases for it AND it possibly has the spen with it OR you can buy the spen and it's compatible with it. THEN i might consider the folding phone over the Note 10. Would be nice to have a phone than can open up into a mini tablet and have the spen.

It all depends on what crazy trade-in deal they offer. Wasn't planning on getting a note 9, but the trade-in of my S8 and the free $300 headphones turned my decision. I to an easy one.
