So I tried doing this the other day online. I ended up backing out because it was sketchy. I went through all the steps. Then I got to the "pick a data plan" part. It listed my current plan on top with new options at the bottom. I didn't pick anything new and hit continue. Well, at the top it says what your monthly charges will be. It only included the voice plan and the monthly device payment. It read like I didn't have a data plan. So, I chatted with an agent who said it only shows changes made and supposedly your voice plan charges go down when using the payments for a new phone, so that's why the unlimited data charges did not show. I was not comfortable with that explanation and backed out. I am wondering if anyone has upgraded using the payment option and kept thier unlimited data. And did they see the same things I did as far as monthly charges.
