So could this be it? I have had both the Note 9 and Note 10 Plus and I gotta say, I am a note fan. It seems this year Samsung has opted not to release a Note device and add S-pen capability to their newer fold devices which I am not a fan of personally. I have no need for a folding phone.

It seems like in recent years anyways, especially last year, there isn't much to differentiate the Note line any more from the S series anymore. Seems like the Note line used to be the more premium of the two. Maybe Samsung will come to their senses next year and release a new Note device.

Currently on the Note 10 plus, which I have had about 3 months. I guess my next course of action is I will probably get the Note 20 Ultra down the line. They have some really good deals on it right now at Samsung.

Who knows what will happen with the Note Series! I wouldn't panic just yet! Has Samsung released any official statements about the Note series? Until then, I'd hold tight!

I did hear on some random blog (think it was Sam Mobile) that Samsung are making a Note next year.

Ever since 2015 when the S6 Edge and Note 5 were identical with the only difference being the Note 5 had the back glass curved with a flat display and S Pen.

The Note line hasn't been an upgrade over the S line since. It doesn't surprise me we don't get a new Note this year.

Supposedly the global chip shortage is to blame for no new Note this year, it's gonna be interesting to see if it returns next year. Samsung said they weren't ditching the S Pen, I don't think they confirmed either way on the Note line up.

Note line always seems to have better specs on paper though. For example.. The Note 9 was better than the S9 plus. The Note 10 plus was better than the S10 plus. In my opinion anyway.

That alone right there sets them apart for me.

Unfortunately I don’t have the cash required to make the upgrade Samsung wants me to make - from Note series to Fold series. So the death of Note series means two things for me. 1. I’ll keep my Note 10+ for yet another year (bought it in release day), even with its falling battery, for use in my work; 2. I bought an iPhone to carry with me in my all-day tasks, mainly because I need a device with good autonomy. For work, though, I thing Note series remains unbeatable.

I agree that the Note line isn't necessarily an upgrade over the Samsung Galaxy S line. It's more of a lateral move/depending upon your needs situation.

Ubreakifix will replace the battery for you if you have one in your area. For a fee, of course.
