Virgin doesn't allow out of network phones. That's not to say it can't be done but it'd be a major pita and you still could end up with a gimped phone that all features (mms) doesn't work.

Um, how in the world did you brick it? They are next to impossible to do so short of fast booting in the wrong software.

Edit: Okay, read around and saw that you have a broken power button. Honestly, were you able to power on before? Have you ever been able to turn the phone on? I know you can enter download mode via holding both volume buttons and then inserting the power cable (the only way I could get any response without the power button) but it doesnt seem to recognize adb or fastboot this way. Only odin as I understand it. Once you get the power button fixed you should be fine.

How did you manage to brick it? Did you just flash a zip in cwm?

The only way I think of bricking is flashing a bad bootloader.

May want to try a usb jig and flash with oden.

By flashing a rom
I put it into download mode but black screen so I pull battery (dumb) now I turn on and get black screen I can't even tell if its on
