Cable issues? Battery issues? HELP!

[AC Question]

My Note 2 is going through charging cables. they work fine for the first week, then they disconnect and connect constantly (every 15 seconds or so), never getting a good charge. im using 3.0 usb cables and samsung ac blocks. battery life is also horrible im lucky if i get a full hour. is this a battery issue or a charging cable issue? And how can I fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! How many have you gone through? I'd start to suspect the charge port instead.
