Calendar App

Anyone know a good calendar app that can show events that span multiple days and sync with my outlook calendar?

I'm coming over from windows phone and I use to use one calendar so I'm looking for a replacement.

Go with "Business Calendar 2", it's really impressive.

Norg I was looking at that calendar. I liked the way it looked. I couldn't tell if I could sync it with outlook. Do you know if I can and does it have a widget?

The outlook app has Email, Calendar & Contacts in one app. I was using it on my S7 Edge, it isn't bad, I kind of liked having all 3 in 1 place. I haven't installed it on my V30 yet (just got it last night). I'm trying the default email and contacts to see if I like them better than outlook. I'll probably wind up installing outlook eventually.

I'm syncing to outlook.com. Everything I have syncs with outlook.com.

DFranch, what kind of views do you get with the calendar? do you get day, week, month views? Also if I remember the calendar on the phone does not show events spanning multiple days? it just puts a dot on each day. Is that how it works with this app?

If you're syncing to Outlook.com, pretty much every calendar app syncs to it. The only thing we'll be talking about is feature set.

I tried the Outlook app before, can't remember exactly why I went on back to using separate apps. Google syncs to the Outlook app too. I ended up using Any.do as the front end for my calendar.

Add your Outlook account to Gmail or the stock LG email app and your outlook events will display on any calendar.

As for third party calendar apps, I'm fond of Business Calendar 2 and DigiCal.

There's also the Outlook app.

Outlook app is terrible for events that don't originate from your Outlook account.

Yes, it works with practically every email scenario, and yes plenty of widgets. I compare it to using the desktop version of Office/Outlook, and I used it for a couple of years. Only reason I stopped is because I kind of like the Samsung calendar app on my S8+.

It has an agenda, 1 day and 3 day view. It is more simplistic than the default calendar. I'm still deciding what I want to use. Gmail is ok, but isn't syncing my hotmail contacts to the phone. The default email app syncs the contacts fine, but the email widget only does combined mailboxes. I have a separate widget for work and personal, and don't like combined. That leaves me with outlook.
