Calendar appoint. Not showing at top.

I ended up having to do a hard reset back to factory fresh due to an issue I was having. Now for the life of me I cannot get the top widget to show my next upcoming calendar appointment. On the pixel launcher the top widget shows the date and the weather and below that used to be my next appointment up to 30 minutes in advance. I've looked and looked and cannot find that setting that could be turned off. Any ideas?
Now I'm wondering if this feature was removed in the latest update. Is everyone else still getting it?

You mean you disabled the top widget calendar or the whole calendar? Can you reverse your moves?

Another issue with this FDR is now no dots to tell me I have an email. This is starting to **** me off. All the other dots work. A simple thing. I'm trying to avoid going to a 3rd party launcher and would just like the OEM to work properly.
As I posted earlier in another thread my pixel was taken over by some malware and hence the reason for the FDR and the desire to remain stock.

Well it cannot be removed and you should be able to just re-enable it.

I'm having trouble finding the "at a glance" page. It seems to be missing. Is it in settings? I used the search feature in settings and found nothing.

Ahh.. Long press on home screen and you'll find it under "home settings"

OK, this is what I get and still don't see the at a glance options.

Hmmm, indeed. So your saying that if you long press on the home screen calendar/weather widget that an option box pops up? 'Cause I don't get diddly

If I long press cal/weather I get Preferences popup. Tap that and I get At A Glance like post #5 . I'd call Google. Good luck.

Yeah, something's broke. I just installed my old favorite smooth calendar and it won't even show anything as far as upcoming events or appointments. Yet the google OEM calendar widget works fine. A head scratcher for sure. Thanks for the suggestions anyway.
