Calendar isn't saving events

As the title reads... My gf's calendar isn't saving events. How can I fix the issue?

Does she have multiple calendars, i.e. an exchange calendar, google calendar, etc...? If so, when creating the events, you can select which calendar to use for the event and the type of notification/reminder. Not sure if this is the issue she's experiencing, but maybe worth a shot?
