Calendar issues after kitkat

I use Google calendar and only want notifications from that. I can go in and shut off notifications on the default Samsung calendar. However. Every time my phone is restarted the settings reset. Google calendar notifications are turned of and the default app setting are turned back on.

Anyone else having this issue or know a fix?

My issue is that I want the notifications from Google calendar and not from the Samsung app. I went to settings, apps, calendar and it seems you can't uncheck show notifications on a pre installed app.

If showes in mine. You just select off under notification. Only three options available.

I know where the notifications are. The issue is after I restart my phone. They turn back on and Google calendars turn off

Same problem here. Since the update I cant even turn off the Samsung calendar app. I want to use the Google calendar, when I go into the Samsung calendar app & turn all the notifications off & then turn on the notifications on in Google calendar. Once I reboot they all change back!

Very annoying, can't find away to change it without rooting.
