Calendar issues

I just received my Nexus 7 and am trying to get a calendar (any calendar) to sync up with my google calendar. No problem with my gmail account, but I have no idea how to even make a populated calendar show up. This has to be one of those "Doh!" items. Help!

That's weird. Mine automatically showed the calendar for the account I added during setup, and was displaying it in week view.

Are you sure you didn't check every nook and cranny of the Settings for the tablet? Sometimes you have to click on your email address when you get to a dead end in the menus, and it brings up more options.

Go to your Google account in settings and make sure calendar is set to sync

I've got an open thread going with Google employees about my calendar problems. they contacted me early this morning. I gave them the info they requested and now the ball is in their court. I hope they do better than they did with the Google Play Music Manager issues I'm having. I got an email from them today stating they think they fixed the problem on their end and for me to try to upload my music again. THAT was met with another colossal failure. sigh.
