Calendar stopped talking

In the past my V10 would talk to me and tell me the time and what the event was, when using the calendar, but for months now it only makes the alert tone.

Is there any way to bring this feature back?

When I get a call or text, it tells me via voice that I have a call or text and who it is from.

The calendar used to work the same way, which was very useful and easy to hear.

Maybe it's a setting under accessibility options? All I see is a setting for texts and calls on mine. I found a spot to set the calendar notification sound but nothing to set it to speak them out loud. What carrier are you on? It could be a carrier specific option that was removed.

I have Tmobile.
I don't remember how I turned this on, but has been talking since the day I got it.
I thought someone here would know.
One thing I remember is the calendar screen changed color and looked different about the time when it stopped talking, but it didn't affect text and calls from talking.
