Calendar syncing with fiances calendar

I got a HTC Thunderbolt about a week ago, my fiance has a Motorola Droid 2. We just noticed today that whenever I place an event on my calendar and set a reminder she get's a reminder for it as well. I'm sure we just have a setting wrong, anyone have any ideas how to stop this from happening?

This might be a silly question, but do you two share a Google/Gmail account?

No, two different Gmail accounts. Really has me baffled.

Alright, just had to eliminate "simple and obvious".
Any chance one of you has turned on 'sharing' and are accidentally accessing the same calendar that way? I'm looking under Calendar Settings -> Calendars (on the site, not in-app). Because aside from that... I've got nothin'.

Sounds like someone shared their Google calender with the other phone.

Didn't think to actually look under the Google Calendar webpage. I see the setting that you are talking about, but nobody is listed there as being shared with. I'm sure it's just something we are overlooking. She has had her phone for awhile, but this is my first Droid phone. Guess I better not schedule anything I don't want her to find out about until I figure it out...lol. Thanks for trying to help.

Yeah, I'm stumped. Hopefully someone else will have some ideas.
Until then - time to go back to writing everything in a paper planner.
