I've only had one time I got the rejected email, think it was the first year they went to Texas for the trade ins, if I remember right a lot of people got the reject email. I called and the rep took care of it, I said I could send her pictures and videos and she said they don't take those. So, just be prepared to fight if they just don't take your word for it, your pics and videos will come in handy in court at which point your spending more money then you're fighting for.
Now that could just be that one rep, I don't know. I do know Samsung customer service is about as bad as it gets. For broken phones I won't even deal with them, that's what insurance is for. Fortunately their phones work good and last the year I need it to work.
