Does anyone know of an easy to use Calendar Widget? I want one that display the whole month on my screen, and not just events. I currently have two Calendar widgets (stock and Simple calendar). Both of these only shows events as a widget. I know you can put the app on screen and press the app. That will display the month. But I want the month to be displayed so I can see what day is what without having to press anything. Now Business Calendar allows you to do that. But unfortunately it has issues hanging on the tablet every other day, or it doesn't load. I have to restart to get it to load.

What I'd like is a simple calendar on one of my screen that shows the entire month. If I add an event, then I'll tap the day/date and create one.

Is there one like this?

Thx

I use Next Calendar widget which is really nice.

But do you need to install Next Launcher? I have Nova now.

I ended up installing Month Calendar Widget, which was right next to Next Calendar. That works. Unfortunately, I can't press on the date and enter in the event. It's a simple calendar, which will be OK. I'll just have to install another calendar widget on there to enter in events.

Yes unfortunately it requires Next Launcher.

Android Pro Widgets has a good full screen calendar. I use this one on my Note 3, and on my 10.1 I use digical+ which works great. Cant go wrong with either one.

I ended up using Calendar+Free. It had everything I had asked for: Simple calendar showing the whole month. Then if I need to create an event, just press on the date. Thanks everyone for their ideas.

Does anyone know if my current Google calendar widget that came with my LGG2, will it work with Nova prime? Thanks

So, based on the recommendations here for Jorte, I gave it a shot. If I'd had nothing else, I'd certainly love it. It is a full featured and very powerful app that does pretty much everything well. If I didn't sync to Google Calendar this would be a "must have." As it is, it mostly duplicates Google Calendar and I don't like the Widgets it uses to feed that info to my device screen as well as the combo I now have of GTO app as a tasks widget on my home screen, and an Agenda version of Google's Calendar in 2 x 5 through the Resizeable Cal Widget I mentioned. (On another screen, I used to have a monthly calendar, but I've deleted that as redundant because tapping the Cal widget in Agenda form brings up a button to access the actual Google Calendar app--and then I can choose week, day, list, month, year, or leave it defaulted to one of those).

The info is the same. It's just a question of functionality. I played with Jorte's widgets---the ones that replicate what I have I don't think are as attractive, frankly. It's a minor difference overall, admittedly. I would add though that I still can't get Jorte to actually sync tasks to my google calendar. It keeps saying it has, but nothing appeared. Oh, well. Uninstalled. Good app--just redundant of what I already have set up, and not quite as simple, or, perhaps better put, as single-minded. Had I stumbled upon it initially, I would certainly have kept it.

Thanks, but I am completely satisfied with my current setup of widgets. There's no real reason to keep playing with something I see no point to keeping anyway. Under the hood, it's just Google calendar and tasks. The only issue is how you feed the info to yourself. The two widgets I use (from GTO aka Google Task Organizer, and Resizeable Cal Widget do just one thing, they do that perfectly and with many options and the rest is just Google, no matter what program you use with it.
