Gday
Been having a whale of a time trying to get calenders to work on my S4. Google Calendar , SPlanner simply do not work , will not work. They open fine , but when you add an event the app crashes with the message 'Google calender or SPlanner has stopped working'. In fact anything that seems to use a calender crashes. I think there is a synching process which is not working properly within andriod, Sometimes an error comes up after calender apps crash - 'com.sec.andriod.sCloudSync has stopped working' . This may have something to do with it. Perhaps the last updates crashed it and now it wont sync the calenders.

Amy ideas on this ?

OK I have disabled all my Samsung syncing (facebook , calender , contacts , apps etc ) in the settings area however it still hasn't solved the problem. SPlanner still attempts to sync with SCloudSync and this process crashes with 'com.sec.andriod.sCloudSync has stopped working' coming up again.

OK discovered that Google Calender and S Planner , S Memo , S Note both sync to the Samsung cloud via the process com.sec.andriod.sCloudSync independent of your account syncing settings .
Samsung need to release an update to fix com.sec.andriod.sCloudSync.

Had the same problem on my S4 Mini. I have enabled sCalendarStorage from Settings/More/Application Manager/All, and now it works fine
