Can I forward calls and sms from my galaxy S24 ULTRA to my S21 ULTRA? I'm on Tmobile

If you use Google Messages you can do that for texts (you may have to use the web interface, though... not sure if the Messages app itself on another phone lets you sign into your account or can only support the phone itself). However, for calls, the 'Call and text from other devices' option is only available between Samsung Tablets, Computers, and Watches with only one phone as the 'main' device supported.

You can forward calls using the 'native' TMobile service, but for texts you'd have to either use Messages (and cloud sync with your Google account) or a 3rd party automation app like Taskr where you can set up a routine that automatically copies and re-sends any text you get on one device to another.

Gemini says this is how to forward Google Messages SMS.

To forward a text message in Google Messages, open the conversation, select the message, and then tap the "More" option followed by "Forward". Choose the recipient from your contacts and tap "Send". You can also copy and paste the message to other contacts manually. [1, 2, 3]

And says this about other ways to automatically forward messages.

To automatically forward text messages on an Android device, you'll need to use a third-party app, as Android doesn't have a built-in feature for auto-forwarding. A popular option is SMS Forwarder, available on the Google Play Store. [1, 2]
Here's how to set up automatic forwarding using an app like SMS Forwarder: [1, 1, 2, 2]

  1. Download and install the app: Find and install an SMS forwarding app from the Google Play Store.
  2. Create an account and grant permissions: Follow the app's instructions to create an account and grant the necessary permissions to access your messages.
  3. Configure settings: Enter the recipient phone number or email address where you want the forwarded messages to be sent. You may also be able to set up filters to only forward messages based on specific criteria, such as sender or keywords.
  4. Send a test message: Test the setup by sending a test message to ensure it is being forwarded correctly.
Note: Some apps, like Google Voice, used to offer auto-forwarding features, but they have been discontinued due to spam concerns. [3]

Let us know if any of these work for you.
