Call forwarding is activated when phone is charged.

When call forwarding is activated, my calls either go directly to my voicemail or there's a message that says, " not available at this time, please call again later. " When this happens, I have to enter *73 to turn off call forwarding, every time. Is there a reason why call forwarding is being automatically activated when the phone is being charged?. I thought that this was due to charging it without turning the phone off but when I turned it off before charging it, the same thing happens. Is this the way this phone is designed or is there an adjustment that can be made to prevent this from happening, please? It's very annoying.
