A36 not ringing with phone call

Scenario: Both my wife and I have Samsung A36 phones.

Problem: My phone works great, but a caller to her phone will frequently either go directly to voicemail or get a message that she cannot take the call right now, and to call back later.

Note: This can happen when we are sitting in the same room and many times it does. I will get a call on my phone and I'll have to tell her to call someone because they have called her phone several times and can't get through.

I've checked all of her settings and they are all identical to mine.

I know you said your settings are identical, but just to be sure, her Do Not Disturb isn't turned on, or scheduled to turn on at certain times or locations?

Also, how's your cell signal? If it's fairly weak, it's possible for one phone to have reception but the other not to.

Thanks for your feedback. I double checked her phone and we're both getting the exact same number of bars and "Do Not Disturb" is set for two occasions - one is during church on Sunday morning and the other is at night when we're asleep.

No call screening, although I do. My phone alerts me to possible spam calls (which has been 100% accurate so far). No apps, but what kind of features should I look for?

I have Smart Call enabled on my phone and love it, but not her phone. For some reason, none of the spammers call her. We are both on the same carrier, but I haven't checked with them as to their setup on our lines. I'll try that in the morning.

Ok -- if there's still nothing that's clearly causing this issue, the next step may be to speak to your carrier's tech support.

I assume it's random, but we only find out about it, when callers know to call me to get ahold of her. It has happened to me, my daughter, and a couple of her sisters, but I don't know of anyone else.
