call from text?

Anyone know how to call the sender from inside a text msg? I'm on sprint.

I can't remember about the stock messaging app, but with Handcent, there is a call button in upper left corner when you are in a thread. Works great for me!

GET HANDCENT!!!!! Great app! far superior app all around.
Unless the stock messaging app has come along way since launch.... handcent is hands down the way to go.
Never tried chomp, but i heard it was a great app also..

Yea I had handcent but. The duplicate voicemail notification was driving me nuts. So once the htc update came out a few weeks ago I stopped using it. Maybe i'll give it another try.

in handcent there is an option to blacklist number and when you blacklist the number that the text message/voicemail came from you will not get that text anymore

First off, get Handcent. Not sure what you mean with voicemail notifications because Handcent only does SMS and MMS, not VM. You may be referring to the duplicate SMS/MMS notifications in which case you need go into the stock messaging app and turn off notifications which means only Handcent will notify you.

That said if your still wanting to use the stock messaging app, to call a person you have 2 options;
1) if your on the first messaging screen where you see the list of all the people you have chat threads going with .... long press on the person you want to call. A menu will pop up and "call" is second from bottom.
2) if your inside the chat thread with the person you want to call, long press on any message they send you and its the first option.
