AC Question

When i try to make a call from my samsung galaxy s7 edge i get a pop up saying call not sent

It would still be helpful to know what your cell signal strength is like. If it's on the borderline, it's possible for you to receive calls intermittently, but not be able to make a call. Look in the Settings>About Phone menu for a Status category, and see what the cell signal strength is. Or install an app like GSam Battery Monitor, which also has a nice cell signal strength graph.

Have you also asked your carrier about this? They might want to try a new SIM card.

Sorry, are you saying that the calls don't get sent even when the cell signal strength is good (i.e., more like -70 dbm)? Or do you mean the signal is always that bad (i.e., more like -114 dbm)?

Have you asked your carrier about this? Bring the phone into one of their stores and demonstrate the call drops.

Same exact issue here with a Note10, shows "Call not sent."
I have tried several active sim cards from different carriers which work fine in other phones, but in the Note10 I can only access the web and text. When trying to make a call with full signal bars and LTE next to it, it just shows "Call not sent". I've done all the usual restart, full factory reset from the recovery menu, even reflashed it via Odin with the latest firmware three times then factory reset again, but Nada! No bueno! lol Samsung has screwed up this time, it seems to be a hardware problem. :(

You have warranty ask for a replacement.

This is not a phone or carrier issue, this is a Bluetooth issue. I have the same exact problem with Samsung Galaxy S10+. Whenever I have Bluetooth connected to the phone - could be headset, or my car's system - sometimes the first call will go out but when I try to dial another number I get CALL NOT SENT. Turn the BT device off or turn BT off on the phone altogether and you will be able to complete the call. Extremely frastrating.

I have the same issue without any Bluetooth involved.

I'm using a Huawei P30 Pro in Romania, and out of 3 operator SIMs I've tried, only one (Telekom) let me make calls. The other two (Vodafone and Orange) didn't let the phone make calls.

I've accepted all provisioning messages, and went to both Vodafone and Orange stores for technical help. They couldn't do anything.

Then I popped in a Telekom SIM and making calls from it just worked.
