Call Quality

Does anyone have any issue with the call quality of this phone, particularly on the other side. My wife recently got this phone and when I call her and she calls me I can barely hear her speak. It sounds very distorted and unclear. She has no problem hearing me. I'm not the only one who has told her this as virtually anyone she talks to asks where she is calling from since they can barely hear her. Other than that the phone is great and she really likes it. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Has it always been this way? My wife had a similar issue on a different phone, and there ended up being something lodged in the mic hole, causing very little sound to get through

She just activated the phone this past Wednesday night and noticed it on Thursday morning when she used it. I'll check the microphone, but I doubt that is the problem since it was new out of the box.

Check Really good the rep didn't remove all of the plastic on my phone. Also check her speaker volume when she's on with some one, mine ead turned down low.

Could also have her update the PRL. We picked up a second Fascinate for my wife, and it initially had terrible sound quality, but after updating the PRL (by dialing *22899) it's been much better.
