Call volume in car dock

Okay, I've got the Verizon car dock, but the one thing that really bothers me is that I can't seem to adjust the volume of a call when on my headset (bluetooth). The only way I can seem to do it is by taking it out of the dock, and hitting the volume up button. Is there any way to change this without taking it out of the dock? Seems to defeat the purpose of hands free. It seems that the volume resets to really low after each call as well.

In Sounds I believe there is a setting for Bluetooth volume defaults. Also, is there a volume up on your headset? I use a BT speakerphone and I can raise the Volume wither with the Rocker or on the Speaker device.

I want to mill that area out and put a toggle in like they should have from the start, other docks have that also available at Verizon
