Caller Distortion

Have noticed recently that when I talk or receive an actual phone call, the other persons voice seems to be distorted.
On normal phone sounds and music, it sounds fine, but actual phone calls, not good at all.

Any ideas?

Bring the phone to the carrier's store. It could be the phone, software or hardware, or it could be on their end.

Try turning off "OK Google" and see if there's still a problem. Are you on Lollipop?
There's several threads on poor voice quality caused by this bug. Iirc corrected in Lollpop.
