Hi,

I had a Nexus 4 with Android 5.0 or Android 4.4 (I do not rememeber exactly which version) and everytime I called or received a call from a business (shops, medical centers, etc...) that I don't have stored in my contact but it has its phone number in google maps I got the information of that business in the screen. I guess it is officially called "Caller ID by Google" and it was a very useful and cool feature.

Now with a LG G4 with Android 6.0 I don't have that feature and I don't see any options to activate/deactivate.

Thanks

Regards,

Javier

Welcome back! Open the Phone app, tap Menu>Settings. You don't see it there? How about in Call Settings?

A quick search found this:

The Google Dialer is the only app that supports this. If you have a Nexus, it's installed. Otherwise you need to root your phone and install it yourself. Almost pure Lollipop (like my Moto X 2nd gen Pure Edition) doesn't have it.

I would love to find an aftermarket dialer not requiring root that emulates the Nexus dialer...

My first Android was a nexus 5 and I loved that feature. I was very disappointed when I couldn't download that dialer in the play store.
