Caller ID Help - LG G4 on Rogers

I love my G4 except for the little issues it brings. A big issue for me (understandably not for others) is that I am unable to block my caller id via the "additional settings -> hide number" in the phone menu. I have never had an issue with this function with any other phone in the past.
I've searched around and I see people having problems with call forwarding, but my call forwarding works; it's just the caller id function.

Now, I tested my sim in 3 other phones (Z2, Razr, some model of Blu) and the call block works fine.

I tested other sims in my G4 (Wife's Rogers sim, and friend's Wind sim) and my phone works fine.

I also tested my friend's G4 and he has the same issue with his sim and mine.

So clearly this is an issue with the G4 (H812 anyway) on the Rogers network (maybe Bell but didn't have that Sim to test).

Now Rogers tech support has told me its not an issue that would warrant a replacement, which wouldn't solve the issue anyway since it seems that it's not just my G4 that would have the problem. I called LG and the guy advised it wasn't an LG issue.

I would definitely just sell the phone and get another but I'm waiting for a new decent phone that has an IR Blaster and wireless charging.

Can anyone help or suggest what I could do.

Are you using an unlocked G4 that was branded to a different carrier, or a G4 purchased from Rogers or elsewhere but with Rogers branding?

It's a Rogers phone. I actually got it from the Rogers store.

I forgot to add in my original post that Rogers first thought it was an issue with the voLTE thingy. Back when I got the phone I do recall it working while I was on the phone with the tech guy when he turned of voLTE on his end. But it stopped working soon after. May have not worked right after the call with the tech but I just never checked it. In my last call with the tech last week we tried that again and it had no affect.

I know in US can do this by dialing *67 and/or *31 (absolute numbers may be different, typing from memory which is suspect) Rogers probably has a similar feature. I would suggest Google - " how to block caller ID ...", Google will probably give a workable result.

Actually, that was the Rogers workaround. #31# and then the phone number. I'm feeling a bit guilty now posting even though I had a solution.
I think i'm just peeved that my phone doesn't work the way it's supposed to, and knowing that it's not just my phone. And maybe combining this issue with the other minor annoyances, such as bluetooth issues with my car (more so after upgrade to Marshmallow).

Interest keep coming in too electric. also ..when got place two live.. was bills was at 12 grant...from originaly 600..

..will change the android phone mabe, mabe in rivrer.. 15y no calls b*.., big mistake trying get up back. Any way to blck by adress ip. or solutions. Let me know.
