Calls don't interrupt music playback

When I'm listening to music, and the phone is on vibrate, if i get a phone call, the music keeps playing. Therefore i miss the phone call because I can't hear the vibrating over the music. If the phone ringtone is on I don't have this problem.

I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this and if you've discovered solutions?

I think the only solution is not to have the phone on vibrate when listening to music or at least have it where you can see the screen because it will switch over to show the incoming call over the music player.
