In Gmail, open the app → tap on the three lines (menu) → go to Settings → choose your email account → scroll to the Nudges section → uncheck both “Suggest emails to reply to” and “Suggest emails to follow up on.”

For the Messages app (Google Messages), open it → tap three dots (menu) → Settings → go to Suggestions → look for “Nudges” or “Suggestions in Messages” → simply turn them off.
That’s it — once disabled, you won’t get those reminder nudges anymore.
